Beatles Detroit 1964 8mm Film

Hey everyone,

I’ve been in talks with someone who saw the Beatles play in 1964 and 66, and recently she was kind enough to send me a DVD copy of all the 8mm films her family took over the years. Sadly the original reels have been thrown away, so this DVD is the best quality we will see.

Here is the first film on that disc, the family already put this film on YouTube, but the quality here is a little sharper. It’s a homr movie shot during the afternoon performance of the Beatles’ shows at the Olympia in Detroit from September 6th, 1964. I’ve got a few more films from this DVD which are entirely new, so stay tuned! (I will also be sharing the raw VOBS soon once everything is posted.)
