New Candlestick Park 1966 News Film

Hi everyone,

Recently I discovered a new film from the Beatles' last live show at Candlestick Park, shot by KPIX-TV news and broadcast by CBS5. This was posted a little while ago by the Bay Area Television Archive.

In my version, I did a little editing to add accurate sound to portions of the film with either missing or obscured live sound, and I also put the film in the best order possible.

This film is quite remarkable as it has the first professional footage of If I Needed Someone and Day Tripper, and the first footage period of Paperback Writer! I hope you all enjoy

Actually one of my favorite parts here is the fans dancing as they play Rock and Roll Music. Despite all the screams, the fans could certainly hear them!
