I don't think they are all on stage. Go to 0:45 for example, just to the right of John is some guy in a jacket and tie. He doesn't look like he's on stage to me.

This was for BBC Top of the Pops and they always had a live audience in front of the stage, and artists usually mimed while the audience danced. That was the format of the show.

I would count these all as live performances still, the Instant Karma performances all have live vocal, and while it may be mostly mimed, they are still technically playing in a live setting. Same thing with Old Grey Whistle Test !

What's bad about "TV/Radio" category? the audience was at such shows in many cases, but it's not exactly a "live" setting, as pre-recorded tapes may be involved.

Updated that google sheet with the radio show numbers, may update it more after but I think for now I'm happy with it, I'll probably just put it as a download on the homepage for the site
