This album has always held a special magic for me, being the second bootleg of unheard Beatles material that I bought in the early 70s, the first being Kum Back. I still have it - on blue vinyl. I mean - 14 previously unheard and to me unknown Beatles recordings. Of course, none of us had the slightest idea what we were hearing - the cover implied they were EMI recordings, so it seemed we were hearing a "lost Beatles album". I used to dream that one day we might get to hear good quality versions, the quality on Yellow Matter Custard was pretty dreadful, like hearing it on a cheap transistor radio. I never dreamed we would hear these tracks in the way LR has done them.
Quite why LR hasn't been snapped up by Apple to work on the early recordings is beyond me.
