Who do you think is the best-sounding Beatles tribute band?

Post by twogurusindrag »

I was wondering who sounds most like The Beatles in concert? Thanks.
She's a drag. A well-known drag. We turn the sound down on her and say rude things.

The Analogues don't look anything like the Beatles but they have the closest sound.

If you want sound + looks I'd say Fab Four.

The Fab Faux are obsessed with getting the music right. Vocally they don't do the accents and no wigs.

The Bootleg Beatles and the Fab Four are very very good too.
I saw The Bootleg two times recently and i have loved the '63/'66 era.

My best friend has a great band in Las Vegas called "The Fab". They do an incredible job, and they don't try to speak with phoney english accents.

1964-The Tribute: If they are the same group of guys I saw a few years back, and if the Paul character has gotten his voice back, they would be well up there, though some are getting a bit long in the tooth, lol. The 'Paul' could do really incredible various inflections of Paul's voice.

Fab Four is very good vocally on some songs, and pretty good on the rest. Very good instrumentally overall.

One of the best I have ever seen/heard was a group of Broadway Beatlemania guys that got together after the show finally broke up, and took over the name Rain, from the group that did the Birth of the Beatles movie. They were really great in all regards.
