Wow. The sound of "I just don't understand" (to give an example) It is much improved. Sounds great.
Thanks L.R. once again.

I don't dabble in the remixes very often but this really had some great tracks on it. Thanks much LR for the great work and share. The calypso-like beat on 'Till There was You' was most interesting.

Ah! Some custard for dessert!

Wait, what is all this yellow matter in my custard?

I had this one back in the day. Think I bought it in 1976.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. I really just did it as something to go with the photo slideshow but it came out better than I expected. The vocal separation algorithms have gotten really good now and I took a leaf from Giles book and put a bit of "the room" back in so it would sound more like proper stereo and not a gimmicky throwaway mix. The thing I like about twintrack style mixes is that you get the chance to hear the voices in detail. I notice lots of things in the singing that were masked before. And one bit I particularly love is during the breaks in the middle of I Got A Woman where you can hear Paul keeping the others in time by playing his bass very quietly in the background. Not so obvious in mono but very much so here. In 1994 they used a noise gate to obliterate this from the commercial release, which i thought was a big mistake.

Ha! Took me a moment to work out what you were talking about! Well, who knows.

I've seen the note from John before, and can't help thinking he'd have loved the Beatleg collecting world of today.
What i find interesting is that as early as late 1971 John knew what a "bootleg" was! I mean, the first rock boots had only come out a couple of years earlier! We know he collected them because he said he bought "all" the boots but did not play them. I guess he just found them interesting and cool. As far as I know, none of the others gave a tinkers cuss about them.

It is a very heavy version. Probably the heaviest one they ever did. It could well be my favourite, and it was the last time he did the high note at the end, which i always thought was great.

Don't worry, it's only tapioca. Tapioca Tundra.
