Also commonly used on ancient films like from the early 1900s, I don't get why do would train AI to just work with this kind of palette. It gives the impression people just wore either dark brown or dark blue clothing.

Yeah the colours are correct here. There's some brief bits of actual colour film on youtube and this matches it.
