Just curious as to why 3 separate files download for every dvd disc downloaded. Just trying to figure out how it all fits together. Thanks.

I strongly suggest you download each volume one after the other.

They will come up in multiple ZIP files that aren’t connected, which means that when you will unzip zip001 it will only unzip this file and not all of the ZIPs.

Once the first file unzipped, consider it as your main folder where you will copy the contents of the other unzipped files.

Then unzip zip002, copy its content in your main folder by merging it and not replacing it.

Repeat this step for the other zip files.

a very minor upscale of the old footage, attempting to wipe away some of the compression, making it a bit sharper. Not even a long process, would take double the time the input is, so if its a 1 minute clip, would take 2 minutes to complete..etc

Thank you very much for this share. Appreciated as always.

I think I'm doing this wrong. Per your suggestion, I created a single main Video_TS folder from the first download. I now have individual VOB/IFO/BUP files in essentially 24 separate folders to move to this main folder (24 = 3 separate download folders for each for the 8 links, and excluding 9/10 Special Features). These all downloaded unzipped.

Since many of the separate VOB files for different years share common names, I can't seem to move them into the main Video_TS folder unless I choose "keep both," in which case the second VOB file will now have "copy" in its title. (Note I don't see a "merge" option on my Mac). Not sure if this is the right way to go?

Hope this makes sense. Welcome any thoughts. Thanks again.

with all technology these days i bet you make longer versions of all version

as i recall the ABC broadcast had different audio and footage as did Lasicdisc with 8 hours long and this footage who knows what could be done also we have The Long and Winding Road also
