Can the "Back in the USSR" ending airplane effect wobble be fixed?

Post by Tex »

It is possible to smooth out the horrible tape wobble of the airplane effect at the end?

I'm not interested in simply tacking on the different effect used in the two new remixes but I may end up patching on the smoother mono version.

I did a simple remix of the song but the ending is annoying.

OK, it took breaking the stereo mix into left/right because MVSEP only does mono output but it removes noise pretty good. After I got the wobbly noise removed I replaced it with the smoother jet noise from the mono mix (Primal Colours version) and match to that. I don't have the actual White Album mono mix, sorry. I hope it's the exact same edit (I don't know). I raised the vocals a little bit and of course centered the drums. 8-)

Awesome, TY!

Funny, now my mix/edit sounds closer to the 2018 Giles remix which is actually really good for a Giles remix.

These sound great, but I would've just sampled the unwobbly intro, reversed it, then dubbed onto the end.
I am however, old school through and through......

Cheers.
Go ahead, make my mix............

Is the outro simply the intro reversed?

I went with the mono outro because it's vintage.
