Beatles Cartoon Episodes In High Quality

Hi all, I have recently been posting episodes of The Beatles Cartoon sourced from 16mm film prints on YouTube. The videos are all collected in this playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFN4OBebUCijSRLQZxqebsiUcfHeY4WKQ&si=BxKA_eA4pL8JqaFL

These are much higher quality than the common VHS rip and the recent Pear release.

Mind if I ask where you found these 16mm film prints? (Just curious if there's a chance the full show will be found in this high of quality

Are you sure the same quality? The ones I downloaded from YouTube are bigger files than archive.org.

If I'm understanding correctly, that's because of this:

I increased the size of the videos to 1080p for YouTube as if uploaded at 480p, they would’ve suffered more compression.

The versions on YouTube are the 480p versions, just exported at 1080p. The files are bigger but the quality is not better.

They were released on bootleg blu-ray in 2020, however with this horrible interlacing that I’ve been fixing for each video.

thanks! when i was a tyke and these cartoons were current they were a godsend, as silly as they were, because i was a maniac with few records. some of the episodes featured songs i was otherwise unfamiliar with and others didn't get much play on the radio.

So... Does that bootleg Blu-ray have all the episodes in this quality? Me and my grandpa both love the Beatles, so I'm sure me and him could get a few big laughs out of this show.
