The Making Of All Things Must Pass (Midnight Beat)
There have many more comprehensive Harrison sets in the last 25 years, but this one still remains as one of my favorites. I had pre-ordered it from my friend Walter who got his Yellow Dog discs direct from Jos Remmerswaal who he had befriended and had visited him in Luxembourg. (Walter had said Jos’ home was a Beatles shrine – while there he saw the Nagra reels). I almost didn’t get it because many of them were confiscated in a raid that year – the beginning of the end for the Yellow Dog empire. Luckily Walter’s order got sent out ahead of the raid. VigOtone released their knock off CDR set on their Repro-Man label to fill some of the demand for the Midnight Beat sets that never arrived. I know that set has been offered here in the past (RPM-103-105 which I also have). Here are my fresh rips with tags and complete scans.
