I just came across this on YouTube. What do you reckon? I think it sounds clearer but it might be all in the mind, y'know.

It does sound better, but I don’t have Lord Reith’s set handy to compare.

Thanks, Mark. Undecided about this. The vocals DO sound slightly clearer but the overall sound seems to have suffered. The echo makes it sound too 'muddled'. I prefer LR's.

Listen to this. This is a Demix-Mix I made a few weeks ago, :shock: I like the separation of the Guitars and Drums. Someone wrote that Stowe sounded as good as the Star Club, when in reality, what can be obtained from the Star Club tapes is far, far from what can be obtained from the Stowe recording, and by a long shot. 8-)
