This is a completely new remix of Real Love I've done:
It differs from the older ones I did in that - aside from vastly improved sound quality - I've used the double tracked take that was used in 1995 (previously I used a different take). However this demo has been demixed to split apart the two voices and piano and rebalance them. This was then added to the Threetles backing slowed down to match John's original key and tempo. I then added the kind of vocal sound that John tended to like, which was difficult if not impossible before. I've also got John's piano strung prominently throughout and it sounds quite nice even though it's a bit out of tune (which is not really much different to all the flanging they did in 1967).
Anyway, I hope you like it. Whenever I do something like this I imagine John leaning over my shoulder with a critical eye, so i hope he would have liked it too!

Vey well done, a very clever and creative use of the various elements to make a very unique mix!
We actually only need Giles to provide us with raw material to improve upon, thank you very much...! If the rumors of upcoming releases such as we have discussed are true, it will be interesting to see what is done with the old Threetles material given new technology. Maybe LR will get a phone call one of these days!
