Here's a big update on my (our) big project "Watching Rainbows".

Aside a few track names, all of the Twickenham sessions (Jan 2--Jan 16) have all been reconstructed, revised, renumbered and finalized. During these months, me and my team made many discoveries about the Nagra tapes and its sources, as well as many chronological corrections, myth busting, and non-lossy findings.
Some cool things include: new audio and patches from Get Back, various noise, clicks and pops removals, and some extra restoration on old sources used (and also laughing at A/B Road everytime it got something wrong
)We have decided to create 2 versions of this set: one with the stereo wider enabled, and one that keeps the Nagras in mono, since some people may not like the "fake stereo" treatement.
Looking back at the BETA version that's available on archive.org, the final version will be a huge step up, so I suggest you to not really keep it because of many inaccuracies and mistakes here and there, I might even delete it in a few months.
As for the booklet, it has prooven more difficult than we thought, so we put it aside for the moment, and we're going to complete it once all of the audio will be finished.
Right now, I'm going to take a month of break from the project. Reconstructing the Apple sessions is gonna be much, much more difficult because of multitracks and a LOT of missing audio to check.
That's where I need your help: I suspect to find better sources of the tapes on these 2 bootlegs which I don't have:
Get Back Masters (Red Apple) (og title is longer but I don't remember)
Apple Sessions (Odeon fake) (the 8CD set)
If you happen to have one of these two boots, please let me know and send them here, you're gonna help us very much!
In the meantime, keep holding on with patience, it's gonna take a lot of time unfortunately but trust me it'll be well worth it!
