And Your Byrd Can Sing cv with "ahhhh" harmonies
Re: And Your Byrd Can Sing cv with "ahhhh" harmonies
Thanks again.
Interesting to hear, but the ahhs detract from solo and sound flat IMHO .
It made me think of 'If I Needed Someone' , which might be a reason they didn't continue down this road for the cv.

I actually tried to mash them together a while back. The drums are almost exact same tempo. The notes did not work even with pitch shifting.

I think if they'd kept the harmonies idea then the guitars would have been less heavy like - as some of you pointed out - If I Needed Someone.
But come on, seriously, everyone who's listened to the SDE has thought to themselves "I wonder how the cv would sound with those harmonies". So now you know for certain!

An interesting listen that’s for sure…and I too was one of those wonderers….Lord Reith wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 8:29 pm I think if they'd kept the harmonies idea then the guitars would have been less heavy like - as some of you pointed out - If I Needed Someone.

It’s definitely a good thing that we have the ability to create such things

John didn't love this song but I sure did. George really out-did himself on the guitar parts. Now, thanks to Lord Reith, we have the "ahhhs" Thanks for sharing . . .
