You mentioned a cool looking apple - there were no images or artwork when I downloaded it. Was wondering if you had any, or if you could share the label scans (copied from this page, they are pretty low-res).

Looking forward to ATMP :)

Here you go, sadly this pressing didn't come with the Apple Label, But the Mary Hopkins Single "Those were the days" has a cool looking apple.

All the best and thanks for the intrest,

And yes, the UK cover was imported to numerous European markets

Collecting the White Album is definitely a sickness that I have never recovered fully from....

Great share of the Yugo copy..Thanks very much!
Apple did indeed exist in Yugoslavia but it wasn't jet trademarked or because these Copys were Imports (I don't have an answere for this one sadly).

Abbey Road was released with the Apple Logo, but then Let it be didn't because it was an export Copy too.

Singles also released with the Apple Label. The first single released by Jugoton with the Apple name was Marry Hopkins "Those were the days" the sleeve had an Apple on it, but the label just had the plain silver Parlophone label.
Singles made in the 1970s changed their Label to the classic Apple we all know and love.

All Things Must Pass Label for example:

Edit: spelling

Apple Records in Yugoslavia

Post by Kingof2007 »

Hello guys,
sadly I don't come to you with the All things must Pass Rip, but with some Single Rips.
I ripped the following singles:

The Beatles Ballade of John and Yoko/Old Brown Shoe
Mary Hopkin Those were the day/Turn,Turn,Turn
George Harrisons My Sweet Lord/What is Life

If this gets a lot of positive feedback, then maby I'll start a ripping Series, because Oh boy, I've got a lot of Yugoslavian Vinyl.
All the best,
King.

Thanks for posting this one.
I noticed Helter Skelter is shorterened just like the mono mix,and my guess is this would be a stereo edit.

How come 'Those Were the Days' stays perfectly in sync with 'The White Album - All That Happens In 1968 (BFB)'?
