But remember how this tape was created, by starting with the majority from the second reel and then they grab the first reel which contained CYTMB although with no announced take 19. Remember this is essentially created as a party or ideas tape.

Need help with EMITAPE E70549 from Sept 16, 1968 (I will Session)
Re: Need help with EMITAPE E70549 from Sept 16, 1968 (I will Session)
YES! There are many sources that list it in that order as Take 19 - but each time the audio is released they put it on the end like the order written on the tape and written in the SDE notes.
So that tells me that E70549 was not a complete reel with the raw takes in order from beginning to end, but after the Way You look take, someone cut this tape and added take 19 Can you Take me Back to it afterwards and wrote it on the box. why do that?

after reviewing this source - I see the EMITAPE REELS for I WILL sessions were - E70374, E70375 and E70376 - and at a later date - the engineer setup Emitape E70549 for the purpose of taking CUTS from those previous tapes.
E70549 has a date that says VARIOUS DATES and called the Ad Lib tape. So Can you Take Me back was dubbed onto this tape after the others from E70375 out of order.
This definitely makes a case! So If was to try and make a REEL E70539 reproduction - the cuts in between all of these tracks can be explained why they do not segue into each other.

So Can you Take Me back was dubbed onto this tape after the others from E70375 out of order OR on the other hand, could be a Take 37 or 39...so either could have happened since this REEL was specially put together for Ad LIbs from various dates.

tape boxes certainly weren't Mike Sheady's best friends as you can see 70549 & 70550 in this thread as his writing indicates he tried to scrunch so much especially on the raised height of those boxes although he's quite tidy most of the times and but obviously on a flat surface like plain paper he was a bit tidier. 49 must have been a bastard pen while 50 suffered more from so much info to write in.

On the 7 vs 9 thing, I can't say I fully follow the discussion - to me it seems contradictory in places, but maybe I'm just not understanding. In any case, I think caution must be applied to analysing characters and deciding who wrote what. This is an example:

Mmm it's very weird i know
The B of Back looks like Mike's 3. It's kinda like on no lines is almost OK but on lines he tries to squeeze things in. That's where I looked at the examples on page 3 in my Got It post and also tried discounting John Smith (JS is on this thread's box). I also compared in the SDE the recording sheets and tape boxes and JS has very distinctive long and almost a girls rounded letters and more neater and looks larger and longer tails to some strokes.. SDEs page 112 has 7 Oct MWS and 14 Oct JS and they look very different to me. Page 102 has JS and an RL (Richard Lush?) but RL wasn't active around the I Will recordings.
On the box he might have got mixed up with Honey Pie which RM/RS mixes were been prepared on the 7 Oct but you can see he probably mucked it up with Wild Honey Pie so he scrubbed that out on the box.
All told I'm not saying is 100% Mike Sheady but if you look at his examples in the SDE he looks to have variance to his handwriting and as i've mentioned sometimes rushed.
