Re: YESTERDAY... AND TOMORROW
Thanks guys.
The differences are:
GDS: main drums moved from left to centre, bass guitar moved from left to centre.
DR: John's guitar moved from centre to left, ADT stereo vocal folded down to centre, George's guitar moved more to the right.
IOS: Drums moved from centre to left, John's acoustic guitar moved from centre to right, ADT stereo vocal folded down to centre, oblique bass guitar moved to centre.
AYBCS: Drums moved from left to centre, ADT stereo vocal folded down to centre.
While I did something similar to these on Abracadabra, the quality of separation is much better now. Certainly it was not possible to separate the drums and guitar on IOS like that even a year ago.
Anyway, I'm always happy to have feedback. Even when people say they can't hear any difference, that tells me something: that this is the reason why Giles Martin has made such drastic changes in his remixes. But I'm of the opinion that the original stereo mixes are 75% of the way there and just need a helping hand, not a total ground-up revamp. Of course, opinions may vary!

Re: YESTERDAY... AND TOMORROW
Thank you L.R. -- I agree with your mixing choices/taste way more often than I do with the Abbey Road crew now.
