IT WON'T BE (TRES) LONG
Ever wondered what it's like to be a Beatle microphone?
Well, today you may just find out!
When The Beatles played at Treslong in Holland in 1964, they mimed for the cameras instead of performing because they didn't have Ringo there. As was customary for them, they actually sang to the records because this produces a far more convincing result. But this time Paul's microphone was turned up as he sang along, so we got unique double tracked vocals (or triple tracked in some cases).
Okay, okay, I hear you say. "I know this. Put a sock in it LR." But wait! Through the magic of dieting I have isolated Paul's vocal microphone from the rest of the gubbins. If you want you can just listen to the right channel, but on the left I've put the vocal he was supposedly miming to just to have it make more sense. So you get a cool voice-in-each-ear effect. And best of all, you get the close harmony in the final verse split left/right. It's All My Loving, but not as you know it....

Lord, you are just wonderful and I love hearing all the amazing things you share with us. Thank you and if possible, do the same with all the songs in this presentation.

Thanks LR, great to hear that close harmony at the end where Paul sings his high harmony part (where George sings Paul's melody part during live shows). So it seems George was just miming here since it didn't pick up his part of the harmony.

Amazing Jiggery-Pokery from you LR. Have you isolated Mal Evans at the end getting swamped by the audience invasion? It makes very funny viewing.
