Re: Paul McCartney RAM AT 50 (4 CD Deluxe Box Set)
Thanks so much, nice set, working through it now.
The 2021 half-speed master was new to me, so that's nice . I'm not finding that particular interview in my stash either.
The RSD rip seems to be from PBTHAL (exact same waveforms).
Some outtakes are also found on "Love Is Long-The Ultimate RAM Anthology" and "RAM 2012 Archive Collection"
The Monkberry Moon Delight iso's have been around since 2012.
PS: Without the music and most station promos, the interview is actually 42 minutes. Good chat!

Re: Paul McCartney RAM AT 50 (4 CD Deluxe Box Set)
First - thanks!
anyone know if there are any other extant outtakes?
I'd like to go ahead and delete my other RAM files w/o doing alot of A/B-ing.
It seems that the more files I have, the less I actually listen to any of them.
This looks like a nice "all in one place" set.

Re: Paul McCartney RAM AT 50 (4 CD Deluxe Box Set)
Unfortunately, A/B'ing with both ears and eyes is necessary because (speaking generally about all boots) some sets like to "remaster" (ie, loudify) their versions of the same tracks you already have (or vice-versa) and you have to decide which treatment you prefer. Sometimes tracks are trimmed differently than they are elsewhere, badly track-split, have glitches, etc. And often tracks are simply copied over from some other set without change!quigatolah wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:45 pm I'd like to go ahead and delete my other RAM files w/o doing alot of A/B-ing.

It's all part of the fun: Collecting, comparing, deleting, maybe doing some listening along the way too!
