Good times, great conversation!
PS: I was alone with Faith Hill in the vocal booth, I have photos to prove it

In a former life I was a DM for "Sam Goody Musicland," but will leave these stories for a later time!

Thanks Bombers. Love your treatment of the US catalogue. Looking forward to MMT. Hoping you'll add your Second Album after all, even if the difference with the 2004 Capitol CD is minor.

Parts of Pepper 50th are interesting and neat but overall I find that whole remix to be sonically misguided. Too much digital dickery for my tastes. They should have did something closer to the "Rock Band" remixes. Even Giles has second thoughts on this version.
The one thing I do like is the pushing up of the mid range of the bass guitar on the title track because it makes it sound like another rhythm guitar. I also like the cleaner sound of the acoustic guitars on "Lovely Rita". "With A Little Help From My Friends" is a great remix despite the ridiculous boosting of Ringo's little drum fill early on but a DAW fixes that easy. It's a shame "Good Morning" turned into a shrill drum-looped disaster that could have been amazing.
I will get your remaster as a replacement.

Sorry for the multiple asks but I could use a re-up of this one too. Thank you.
