Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE
When I don't want to comment?
When is that???
Oh! Like NOW!
It's easy to mummify a great pharaoh but I can't remember who's on first.
So, I'm going to throw one rock, and if I hit the right Beatle...then all was not lost.
How much will it mean? Don't ruin this for me! (A lot)
I have also wondered about TMAL and C&W and, the mini-phase(s) they went through. My, my! This rock says Many reasons all the same. It even says Paul McCartney on it. No need to throw that one. Paul is THE reason and C&W has been envious since Baby's In Black that they don't have any way to catch this man. Paul McCartney's sense of counterpoint and harmonic dissonance is beyond melody (and would soon embellish the world of Bass Guitar) like heavy acrylic on reverb! What Paul does on What Goes On... CAN'T be beaten. I've never needed C&W but it needs what McCartney gave it in 2 simple songs. I'm glad it was just air-drop from a low flying C130. BIGGER fish to fry-----> this time, a single song that infatuates itself with McCartney's vocal sensibilities...objective: The Crescendo! Pure and simple. He must have heard it in his sleep. Why were VU Meters invented? To harness overmodulation or to encourage it? You thought I was going to say PREVENT it. Welcome to the Counterpoint of McCartney Cognizance. For once, they should have known this will require a full time hand on the VU's. It can't be done at a single level. Call Mr, Alexis Mardas! He knows. But, that is exactly $3.26US worth of too-sense-worth? What Paul did for Act Naturally, could have gotten Ringo his own TV show(his blue eyes) so, be thankful that Paul spread the group very thin to protect the group.
Birdwatching With Ringo in the UK
In the US, Ranchwork With Ringo.
Same production...he wears Hat, Buckle, Boots and Baby Blues...
and lights 2 cigs at once for 30 minutes. Script? McCartney's backing vocals...what else!
