Paul live in Tokyo, Japan (2017-04-25), 4-source composite
What is this? It's unique, so you don't already have it!
Paul’s Japanese shows from 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018 were all heavily bootlegged in nice box sets, with the audio taken from online and offline sources.
These 2017 audio files were sitting in my “to edit” folder for five years now. They consisted of a soundboard recording of this show tagged “2017-04-25 Budoukan, Tokyo, Japan (MAT)”, a separate online set from Wix’s IEM (in ear monitor) as well as two different audience recordings, one labeled “omni mic”.
With all of this varied source material for several Japanese shows and soundchecks available, it seems obvious to want to try and comp both the dry and distant sources together into something resembling a full mix, such as you would get from an official release. With the exception here being any show would be unedited and complete as performed, with all of Paul’s chatter, his interactions with the audience and the audience’s responses intact!
So what you have here is a fully synched mix of the four sources from April 25, 2017 into one rockin’ stereo set! It took a fair amount of manual editing to prepare the source tracks for compositing and precisely line them up. Each source had a small gap here and there between songs that was covered by the others for smooth continuity. The in-line and offline sources work together to provide the clarity of a soundboard as well as the booming dynamics of an arena show.
Thee are more shows to do but they take time… And once you’ve heard one, you’ve heard them all anyway!

Glad you like!
I think I will attempt the 4/25/17 soundcheck next from 3 different (seemingly inline/IEM) sources.
Here is a sample of Bluebird in both multitrack and stereo:

As promised, here is the 4/25/17 soundcheck comped from 3 different sources. One source was an EVSD release, the others a mystery after these several years. All chat, tuning, coughing and burping is included.
Version 1 is a stereo mixdown, split by tracks:

Version 2 is the 6-track multitrack file, uncut. If you drag it back into Audacity you can isolate the separate sources to hear how each differs:

Artwork (such as it is) is included, along with a screenshot of my Audacity project so you can see how the song bits lined up after a bit of syncing work.
