In 1965, the second movie starring The Beatles, "Help! (4 people are idols) ”. Since its release in the 1960s, it has been broadcast on TV in the 1970s, and videos and DVDs have been released repeatedly since the 1980s. SGT. The "original movie version" of the main DVD at the time of its release in 1965 contains the original 4: 3 aspect ratio unedited screen trimming and the original video of the original mono sound source at the time of theatrical release. The video currently on the market has been trimmed and edited at the top and bottom of the screen to support the wide screen (16: 9), and the part that was originally visible has been cut off. Also, the audio has been replaced or remixed from the original monaural to stereo. It used to be close to the original when it was made into a video in the early 80's, but the image quality at that time was poor and the playback environment is disappearing. The "original movie version" recorded this time is not a video source of the past, but a video source with good master quality. You can see it in an original format that is different from the one currently in circulation.
The second DVD contains valuable video documentaries as a "special feature". The black-and-white film at the beginning of the movie is the sourceof "HELP!"・ The 8mm film image outtakes at each shooting location such as the Austrian Salzburg scene and the Solsbury Plateau outdoor recording scene are full of precious and rare scenes and cannot be overlooked. In addition, multiple versions of the movie trailer, news footage at the time of theatrical release, the state of the premiere show, etc. are also recorded. And for the 2CD, the transition of the soundtrack sound source mix difference of the past is recorded.
CD1 contain s all the soundtracks from the 2007 remix sound source. In addition, each separate sound source of multi-channel 5.1 surround mix is also recorded. It is a noteworthy sound source that can only be heard here, where the instruments and vocals carved from the multi-track master are reproduced in a super-realistic manner.
CD2 includes the soundtrack album (not the CD but the original analog record) released by United Artists in the United States at that time, the original mono sound source of the 1960s, the 1997 video mix and related sound sources that are different from the 2007 mix.
