Where does it come from? I've never heard it in any bootlegs.
It's from the BBC sessions.

Thanks. I thought it was really close to the original, so I got confused.

Hello everybody,
I found this forum not long ago, after the disappearance of bootlegzone - so glad to read beatleg news again!!
I realise I missed a lot in these two and a half years.
In addition, I unfortunately had a hard disk crash that wiped off ALL of my bootleg collection from a lifetime
So I'm beginning to re-collect the things I had, now focusing on live/studio and only keeping the best sources, so naturally I'm all in for this series!

Thanks masterjedi for compiling it!

I wonder if some kind soul can reup the artworks for vols 1-5? They were posted as wetransfers and are now long expired, I don't see them in the Drive folders...

Also - is the "old" coltturkey series worth having anymore? I lost it, and not sure if I need to download it again.
And in case, the MEGA links on the internet-archive-version of the old forum (https://web.archive.org/web/20190905193 ... =1&t=36293) seem to be empty now: hxxps://mega.nz/#F!ydZ0VSRD!h3LVIkSyzib5qTMIgK9ilw
Do you know if they're still online, somewhere?

Thanks and cheers
Nick

I think the old series is worth having as long as Coltturkey keeps updating it. I think there's a few ones that are outdated though, like the Abbey Road and Let It Be volumes as they were done before the Super Deluxe Sets came out. Still, I consider it a must-have for any Beatles fan.
Interested in any/all Bootlegs. Sometimes I make my own.

My personal feeling. Hang in there. Wait for the updates. When it's all done, it'll be as important as Lord R's BBC collection.

(This NOT disparaging colturkey; but while he laid the groundwork, he's apparently not here.)

Csnyfan is still here, helping masterjedi revise the original. We're up to Vol 5.
