It's a nice attempt. When they are in sync, it really sounds good like in the chorus. If you could have John sing the main song and fly Julian in for the chorus, it may sound great.

Yes if the voices could be digitally manipulated to sync it would be great.
The parts where they do line up are good to listen too.
The best father and son sync job that I’ve heard is a mash up of imagine with Fred Lennon’s It’s my life.. amazing how similar the 2 tunes are

I love both versions.
I could be wrong but i think that the parts with the voices not overlapped are made so by MP3J's choice

On mine, I decided to have Julian start the song, and then he and john switch off every other line except during the chorus where I have them both singing and harmonizing together. I did the editing...and even I have trouble telling who's singing which part at times because their voices are so similar. I tried about 6 different john vocals until I found one with a similar presence and echo as Julians' version. And then I edited johns parts to match Julian's version, occasionally adding spacing mid-phrase to keep them both in unison. so amazing when it worked and i'd say about 95% is dead on and the other 5% is very darn close.

I am very happy with the end product!

What do the professionals here think? Does it need a touchup anywhere?
