Twickenham B rolls Track06 edition

Post by Track06 »

Twickenham B rolls sets shared 'recently' (When was www.DNoid.me demonoid's url?)

Kum Back
K1a - mono mp3. 'unfortunately' a fold-down of out of sync channels (track lenghts not a multiple of 588 samples)
K1B - IIRC (stereo) flac set made from the above
K2 - Graphics/Tracks folder structure variant (track lenghts a multiple of 588 samples (CD origin with different offset than the set below))
K3 - a set 'the way that the files were originally torrented back in 2007' (JPGRmusic), shared by Beezer (CD origin with different offset than the set above))

Twelve Days at Twickenham (All with the first 7,75 discs especially lossy with frequencies truncated to 11025? Hz.)
T1a from www. DNoid. me - size of Roll 50B 35530404 bytes
T1b vivalesbootlegs/theaccountant/henk (bzone 2016) - size of Roll 50B 35530404 bytes
T1c from Beatlefan99 - size of Roll 50B 35530404 bytes

So useable for a 'best of' set are
for the earlier rolls: K2 and K3. Mainly K3 with patches from K2 seems the way to go. Rolls 77B-80B are different.
for the later rolls: looks like K3/K2 and T1x could be compared for best results.

K3 is at ever so slightly different speed compared to T1x Rolls 50B-84B. Speed is the same for K3 and K2 rolls 50B - 76B, then all 3 are at different speeds, until roll 81B when K2 and K3 are at equal speed again and 85B when K3 is starts having the same speed as T1x.

My conclusions don't necessarily mean K2 has lots of flaws.

Dang! This took some dedication to wade though all of the disparate versions. Thanks for the hard work!

I think DNoid.me was one of the addresses from about 3-4 years ago, when it seemed like they were changing their address every fortnight.

Thank you very much for sharing these and I will be using them as upgrades for my Twickenham B rolls.
My full name is Uncle Capt. "Skipper" Dumbchops and I seem to have misplaced my electric pretzel sharpener.
