I guess for now to keep the peace I'll stick with the 2007 DDSI numbers but I can't entirely hold back my sincere belief that they need to be updated and corrected.

The confusion I can kind of blame on the whole DDSI numbering system as it seems to be outdated and personally the more I work with these tracks the more I just want to re-number and re-title it myself but that would of course be going against the tide. I'm standing at a crossroads here.

In order not to mess up the DDSI numbers when I happen to re-number some performances, I simply add a letter after the DDSI number: 3-343a, 3-343b, 3-343c, etc.

I recommended that too, especially if you wanna divide the long start and stop rehearsal tracks into smaller tracks to get to the better runthroughs. What makes the sessions seem more dull is when 4 or 5 runthroughs and false starts are crammed on a 11 minute or so track. Every time I did, people acted like PC and the DDSI are etched in stone. As for other people's comments, I see no problem with people having their own numbering systems. The more that people do, the better that someone will get it right.

Thank you so much for the update ! The 11.5kHz cutoff of the stereo edition always bothered me a bit, and to finally be able to hear the highs properly is a real pleasure! Thanks again for this set!

Renumbering just makes sense. Doug would if he were updating his book based on what is out there now. It's not like renumbering the verses in the bible.

I had a lot of fun making the "stereo" version because I wanted to hear it that way. Sorry, just been bored with this whole thing.
