John Lennon Sessions (Multiple Labels)

Been working on an update to this, and I'll soon be able to share the first volume. It's going to be every Lennon recording and mix in chronological order. I've been doing it out of order, and the first album is going to be Some Time In New York (due late march). I've spent hours and hours doing research for this, read multiple books, and listened to every interview! So I hope you guys will enjoy the set when it's done.

For now, here's an overview of the actual set. Called All Together Now , in honor of the fallen Come Together Project from BTZ.

I assume you’ve been using “Lennonology: Strange Days Indeed” as your resource for the chronology? That’s the only book that has all of the correct dates.

I know there was a guide for JL recordings, which listed the best bootlegs. But I don't remember the site where it was posted. I think it was German.

One thought regarding Misterclaudel: As I recall there has been some concern over the years about the quality of their sources (ie, lossy masquerading as lossless, etc.).

Please check on that for our peace of mind, thanks!

Golem, I think we should see the release of Some Time In New York City: The Ultimate Collection this year, so it may be worth holding off on finishing your set until we know what new items appear on the official release.

I don't want you to go to all that trouble and then find your collection is immediately out of date.

I expect the set to come out in the summer, but it'll be pretty simple for me to update it with the new stuff. The reason I'm waiting for March is because that's when the Frank Zappa concert 2022 remix comes out
