Band On The Run [Kenny Saxton's Remixed Edition]
Honestly I have never thought of remixing this album, and yes I think the original album is poorly mixed, but due to lack of materials to work with, I just have to put up with 1973 mixes. However, about a week ago, @theboxinargentina who is also on the forum, gave me the idea and enough materials, i.e. 5.1 surround sound mixes, then I finally decided to give a shot.
The result is just beyond description. When I finished all the mixes and mastered them, I couldn't stop repeatedly listening to them! After listening to the full album non-stop for 8 times, I invited friends over to my place and to enjoy what I've done, and they couldn't believe this album is recorded almost six decades ago!
I uploaded two versions for you to choose: One is unmastered with full dynamic range, but low in volume. The other one is mastered to match the standards of contemporary releases with louder and more spectacular soundscape (especially with Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Five).
Enjoy!

By the way, to @theboxinargentina's suggestion, I opened my Patreon account. If you want to support me, listen to my original music or make requests, you can simply search Kenny Saxton on it!

I've only done a phase corrected version. Really need high quality materials like 5.1 surround mixes or original multitracks to rework the album thoroughly
