Re: Abracadabra - The Surround Sound Collection (2 DVD)
I have a pair of AirPod Max headphones arriving this week. It will be interesting to see how they handle this once I get hints in a format they can use.

Fun facts:
I used DVD Audio Extractor (trial, Mac) to get the audio off the DVDs as 6-channel multitrack FLACs (there was no 4 channel setting)
I used Sound Studio (Mac) to isolate, name and save each individual song from the hour+ continuous extracted tracks
I used Sound Studio (Mac) to surgically lop off empty tops and clean-fade sometimes gritty tails, as well as to remove unwanted stray metallic carnival organ whistling (extraction artifacts) from individual channels as needed. I found at least one case of DC offset in a fade and fixed that, and a couple examples of a vinyl-like pop in fades which I removed
The 6-channel extracted FLACs were then brought into Audacity, the empty tracks 3-4 removed and the file specially exported as FLAC (Advanced Mixing Options, Output channels: 4).
Zipped and uploaded!
No EQ or normalization was performed.

Re: Abracadabra - The Surround Sound Collection (2 DVD)
While cleaning up these files I found some weird stuff in Strawberry Fields Forever.
The extraction of what is supposed to be the vocal track picked up some of George Martin's orchestration. We have the instruments saying "Help me" and in another place they sound like Yoko!
I repeated each comparison 3 times:
