Checking the stereo single, the Blue Album, and #1, the stereo picture is the same as on the 1969 Get Back LP Glyn John's mix just released.Lord Reith wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 10:45 pm Three independent sources I looked at all have the same stereo picture.
Lennon's guitar is on the left channel.

Everyone with the Super Deluxe Box Set, a big question - Is it all my disc players and computers and speakers or is most of the music on these discs compressed or distorted sounding? Not as much the music at all but the vocals on a lot of the tracks sound verystrange at times.

Yes, but I theorise that the Blue Album version uses the 1970 GB album, which is flipped like Apple's on the boot.Mark Graves wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 2:00 amChecking the stereo single, the Blue Album, and #1, the stereo picture is the same as on the 1969 Get Back LP Glyn John's mix just released.Lord Reith wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 10:45 pm Three independent sources I looked at all have the same stereo picture.

That's the first release of that song in stereo.

I'm confused. Why is that? I just listened to the U.S. stereo single and an original pressing of the U.S. Blue Album and "Get Back" sounds the same to me (both have John's guitar on the left).Lord Reith wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:40 am Yes, but I theorise that the Blue Album version uses the 1970 GB album, which is flipped like Apple's on the boot.

Then I'd say the spectrum on the Get Back LP is correct.
Thanks!

thanks Charles!CharlesHawtrey wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 6:12 pm Thanks for all your great insight Mike!
Once I got the set, I'll have to check what's all that about the Get Back album remaster and compare it with all the versions I've been collecting for the last couple of years
Also ↓It's been proven many times with Paul's Archive Collection.MrMurphMcgee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 5:45 pm I would think it entirely possible that the flipped stereo image might be the correct orientation and that the earliest bootleggers got it wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.
