These are sounding great (even if I say so myself!!!). The bottom end on this one is very cool, Ringo's drums and Paul's bass sound as plump as Bettina became...!!!

I'll keep these as yungcloud streams for now, as I go through 'em: this is made from a 24 bit 96kHz LP 'drop of the Bellaphon LP from '77, with a much improved balance between the vocal and the backing, a better frequency range (and it's back to mono (where it all began)).

I thought I'd share a scan from my old cassette copy of the album, from the late '70s. I still have it in my collection!

Fred Fascher placed himself close enough to the microphone to get a cleaner vocal than any of the Japage 3 did: I can hear him clapping along to the rhythm, early in the track (I assume it's him doing the clapping, at any rate!!).

That's one of the tragedies of the recorded legacy of The Beatles: bad microphone placement when they played at The Star Club...!!!
