--------------------------------------------

Here is the Ultimate Edition of Paul McCartney's #1 album, Egypt Station, now beefed up to include a whopping 48 tracks (close to 3 hours of music!!) This fan-made version collects all that has been issued on the various editions and adds over an hour of music to make this the most complete version around! Care has been made to take all tracks from the top quality sources (including lossless versions of tracks that are otherwise only available on YouTube) to ensure that this set sounds excellent throughout. High quality artwork printed on professional grade paper, along with disc art printed directly onto the discs means this set looks fantastic as well. If you've been patiently waiting for the last word on Egypt Station to appear, wait no more. This set is for you!!

great thread! it's a great initiative to continue where we left it the Voo-Doo releases. I miss these releases...

the CD2 of "McCartney III" looks awesome!

to be sure if I understood correctly : the Egypt Station 2 CD set shared here - we have the artwork from Voo-Doo release; but the musical content ?
Is it from dave1dmarx and the actual Egypt Station 2 CD set Voo-Doo records, or is it a "reconstruction" of each track, based on the artwork post by dave1dmarx ?

I ask this because generally when extracting DVD source, dave1dmarx tweaked the audio and use to level the tracks so that the dynamic and level of each track don't vary despite the different sources, so that the whole CD "just flows"...

So, I never happened to get the "real" 5 CD set assembled by dave1dmarx of "Flowers In The Dirt". I only have the previous/orginal set, prior to the release of the official box set of "Flowers In The Dirt".

Thanks! I've actually been working on a 3CD update containing 3 Imagined and new tracks. As for Egypt Station, yes, this is the official set by Dave of Egypt Station, I bought it from him on BTZ. The Abbey Road Under the Staircase set is the only reconstruction, but it can also be bought from Dave if you want to.

it's great to have the Egypt Station set- this Voo-Doo release remained like "l'arlésienne to me". I've looking for this set for a long time.

I did not know the "Blackbird" new mix with orchestra which is tasty.

I do like a lot CD 2 : especially some unusual performances (Lady Madonna at a very slower tempo) - I Saw Her Standing There with horns; (you almost think that John Lennon will come on stage).
Why was David Lynch here ? did he perform something ?
