Allow me to second this. To work on something like this you need to be fired up by a vision. If it's not your particular vision, how about moving along to something else or, you know, undertake your own project. Why on earth you would stop by just to say you don't like what is being done is kind of astounding to me.

Do you mean someone else on your team? Or just someone else entirely? Because you guys have already done extensive work tracking down and remastering the best Nagra sources; somebody outside the team making patches would be easier said than done.

I mean someone else outside our team. It's pretty easy actually, it's not like we're using the rarest bootlegs ever, 90% of the stuff we're using it's available right here or on the Discord server. Besides, the booklet track source listing is very handy for this purpose.

I feel like you probably misunderstood here. With "boardroom tape" I'm referring to the 1976 reunion recording that contains some multitrack playbacks, such as a Dig A Pony take and some oldies, which are already in the Nagras. The "lunchroom tape" (Roll 132A) of the 13th is obviously going to be included.

I agree that of course you should approach this in whatever way you choose.

I also happen to agree with that approach. I'm personally interested in listening to the best version of everything unique, not a lot of different sources/mixes.
