My two cents:
This is an extraordinary fan undertaking.
Don't whine about it not being what YOU want, it's a kid putting this together out of love and passion for The Beatles.
If you don't like how it's done, suck it up.

Allow me to second this. To work on something like this you need to be fired up by a vision. If it's not your particular vision, how about moving along to something else or, you know, undertake your own project. Why on earth you would stop by just to say you don't like what is being done is kind of astounding to me.Derian the imp wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 3:55 pm My two cents:

I mean someone else outside our team. It's pretty easy actually, it's not like we're using the rarest bootlegs ever, 90% of the stuff we're using it's available right here or on the Discord server. Besides, the booklet track source listing is very handy for this purpose.
Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification! I'm glad to hear the sources will be included in the booklet, that should be very handy indeed.iPanggo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 4:43 pm I mean someone else outside our team. Yep. I was totally thinking the lunchroom tape. My bad.iPanggo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 1:25 pm I feel like you probably misunderstood here. With "boardroom tape" I'm referring to the 1976 reunion recording that contains some multitrack playbacks, such as a Dig A Pony take and some oldies, which are already in the Nagras. The "lunchroom tape" (Roll 132A) of the 13th is obviously going to be included.

Do these sound like completed tracks? Or a much-improved remix?
Or both?

I agree that of course you should approach this in whatever way you choose.
I also happen to agree with that approach. I'm personally interested in listening to the best version of everything unique, not a lot of different sources/mixes.
Great work, can't wait!
