Thank you very much for these, Lord Reith! It's really hard to imagine better-sounding remixes.
Could you please do something similar to the White Album? At least, some of it?

Well, at least it's pretty hard to lose a shipping container! Hope you don't find squatters living in there when it arrives.Captain_Kidd wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 12:39 pm LR, thanks again for all your great work, loved it, and your hiatus coincides with the unplugging and packing up of my computer, and… everything, into a shipping container then onto the other side of the world. I hope they treat my (not small at all) record collection with the respect it deserves! At one point I thought of selling the lot, but… just couldn’t do it. Still got to organise the pick up at Melbourne. I have nightmares of the whole lot being abandoned en route somewhere in the bush.
Oh wow. Happy birthday!
Last November I met with Bjorn and Bennie in a Swedish sauna to discuss the preliminaries. But it did not go well... I don't think they liked my towel.
My neglected life, mainly.
Thanks!applebonkerz wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 8:15 pm Thank you for even more quality updated work. I have already added the two new volumes to my archive links for you, so everyone has continual access in 2023 to your efforts.
No for technical reasons i believe that would pose a serious problem. Besides, Giles Martin did what i thought was a very good remix and it is unlikely I could do better than that.Nine-0-Nine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:58 pm Could you please do something similar to the White Album? Apologies in advance if this is common knowledge. What source files do you use to demix and rebalance?

wunderbar! the Saturday existential question : it is longer than 80 minutes; any suggestion about how to split it into 2 CDs ? which song/track to open/start disc 2 ?Lord Reith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 10:02 am Okay, here is Volume 1. Those who have been following this series over the years may remember that I upgraded V1 at the start of last year, so there was no need to redo the demixing.
However, I have made some minor tweaks to the balance of various tracks to further improve them. And obviously the tagging and artwork is new.
I have to say that "Anna" (I still can hear "just one more finger" ) and "Baby It's You" are among my favorite.
But the bonus tracks just makes me cry : "Bad To Me" with backing band and the lovely (one of my favorite) "I'm In Love" with backing band.
Is it exactly the same version than the one you shared through an EP ?
or did you re-EQ and tweak these 2 songs to make in "Spectral Stereo" ?
