I have always loved and appreciated the Star Club recordings. I would imagine myself in the men's room (or some other non-choice setting), separated from the band by a door. I was in there for decades! But finally, Lord Reith took the door off the hinges with a sonic screwdriver, and now I can hear the band! Farewell, muffled thump! There's an empty table up front. Think I'll get a German beer, a pack of German cigarettes, and watch the band. Wish someone would invent the cell phone. And the internet. These guys could go viral!
