I know MJ & csnyfan might be getting tired of working on this but I am loving this. Thank you for this great gift. Please find your Ivor Novello award.

Interesting! Wonder whatever happened to their source tape.
masterjedi wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 4:28 pm oh, I meant to move them. I guess since there's one missing, they're still in the main "working" folder
I have never gotten around to dewowing the remaining mixes, I think 2 more are missing.

I probably picked the wrong date for some reason, lol
masterjedi wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 4:28 pm Oh yeah, I have some of those isolated already and was meaning to include them. you say there's some circulating?
I remember somebody sharing the soccer samples from an effects record on BZ before the 5.1 release.

Got the first Dear Prudence snippet without intrusive She's A Woman audio.
The two Rockband snippets don't actually overlap so I've separated them.
The other one extends the guitar at the very end of the rough mono mixes for a few more seconds.

wow, check this site out:
https://www.whosampled.com/The-Beatles/ ... 9/samples/

I may just include the tape loops that can be cleanly isolated, and not the recordings that were played through.

1968-09-18 Birthday [unknown take ii] HS(RB)
is also on, but here has George sayin "is this mic on?" on top
1968-09-18 Birthday [unknown take i] RB

Additionally, while the composite currently has the the drums (I may have heard that in other snippets, too) and the end of the snippet below, I'm fairly sure the start here is also from Birthday. Sounds like an attempt at the bass riff and guitar warmup:

No tidbit too small, I say. I'll take a look to see if anything can be done about it. Thanks!

Found another one:
1968-10-07 Long, Long, Long (unknown take ii) HS(RB)
is just
1968-10-07 Long, Long, Long [take 44] SDE decompresed (0:05-0:13)
but drenched in reverb!
