Listening to the clip, it sounds like she/her more than he/him, despite what they sang in the first verse. And since it wasn't recorded for official release, I'd expect that the intended singer would choose their pronouns accordingly.

Given that this is an acetate do we think that the other side is Love Of The Loved and that they also intended this for Shapiro?

Actually I'm shocked at how good this sounds just for a cavern recording with one mic. I wish they'd recorded every song they ever played!

I've left messages on some of the websites that Paul (or his people) are likely to see, suggesting items for a possible Anthology 4 to go with Now and Then. If I'd known of the existence of this I would have added it to the list.
