So, this is something I noticed on mvsep.com. It's an AI-based reverb removal and it's shocking how well it already works. As a test, this is what I suspect the original stereo mix of I Call Your Name sounded like before it was Dexterized. Full disclosure, the resulting track was SO dry that I actually added some Abbey Road-style reverb to prevent it from sounding totally wrong.

I like the sound of that mix way better than the record. I'll be saving this one. Thanks1

Re: New DEMUCS tool: FoxJoy Reverb Removal
I tried it on Decca few weeks ago and it didn't do anything at all. Maybe it only works on stereo reverb?
Btw you could adjust the amount of "deverb" by inverting the foxjoy output and mixing it with the original. That will give you an "inverted reverb-only" audio track that you can then blend with the original audio in any amount you fancy to get the result you want.

I've been using the deverb tool at x-minus.pro but only to cut the reverb a few decibels because it gets too artfact-y if you use the full dry version.
I used it on my recent "Help!" album remixes to cut that excessive digital reverb.

I did actually notice it pulled the vocals slightly toward the center when I did this (I shifted them back over when I refined it), so you may be onto something.
Re: New DEMUCS tool: FoxJoy Reverb Removal
I have been using it for a couple weeks & it only works on stereo files I have found. It gives you 2 outputs -- the dry version & reverb only stem also.
You can remix the separated reverb part back at any level to the dry version to get the reverb amount you prefer.
