Thanks again to Mr. P for his upload.
I was looking for this recording because I didn't even know it. I like the slightly pychedelic keyboard or synthy (the violins are also made with it), it doesn't fit the early 90's at all.
All in all, the original isn't good: mostly mono, sizzling and lacking in space.
I tried to change that!
Have fun with it.

Re: Paul McCartney - Rupert The Bear (remixed & remastered)
track 4 is called "When the Wind is blowing"....not Cohen ....that was a mistake from someone who couldn't read Paul's handwriting very well
Best heard on this far better sounding true stereo mix..on Paul McCartney's youtube page!

Thank you for the advice.stereoman33 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:03 pm Best heard on this far better sounding true stereo mix..on Paul McCartney's youtube page!
This is clearly better than the bootleg source of Rupert!
We should swap the track here!
Are there perhaps better sources for the other songs? I have really no idea.

I think overall you've done pretty well...most of the stuff is still unreleased...then again Paul McCartney has a habit of releasing tons of material every year, so who knows!

I almost forgot!
9 minutes into this interview Paul explains how he came to write "When the wind is blowing"...and then he he plays it !
and it's a pre rehearsal with Parkinson... he plays it again later in front of an audience at about an hour into this same video
