Thank you for this. There were a few snippets which I must have missed the first time around.

too lazy to check accurately20YearsAgo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 5:51 pmHonestly, no evidence whatsoever. Doug Sulpy seemed to think it was the same, too... and I'm inclined to agree with him.

Thanks, are there any other 'What's New' releases in the past?20YearsAgo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 3:30 am
Since people seemed to like "What's New in 2020," here’s FAB’s “What’s New 2019” set. Again, like most other FAB products, it’s sourced almost entirely from internet finds. My notes aren’t anywhere as complete as they should be for this, but here’s what I’ve been able to figure out:
Disc 1
2-9 Lord Reith
10 I’m sure this was on BZ… comes from an audio presentation at Abbey Road to demonstrate the possibilities of spectral demixing… At the time, the two Abbey Road “experts” claimed this came from “She Loves You.” But, “experts” being experts, they were wrong.
Disc 2
1, 29 Lord Reith
6-7 BDJ… One of the neatest, and earliest uses of spectral mixing that came on my radar was the removal of Yoko’s voice from the long “Kinfauns and Chaos” Revolution 1 sessions. Track #6 is a 3:49 chunk that BDJ uploaded himself. Track #7 (also clocking in at 3:49) was excerpted from BDJ’s whole 66+ minute de-Yokofied tape. Given that over 45 minutes of disc #1 was devoted to interviews, press conferences, and movie trailers, it’s a pity FAB couldn’t have found a way to include more of BJD’s tape on this set.
8-17 In my humble opinion, csnyfan’s 2019 White Album demixes and remixes are among the best things created in fandom over the past few years. Here, FAB devotes a good chunk of this disc to csnyfan’s work. FWIW, FAB increased the volume so we could hear John’s count-in on track #8.
