Hey, what?! I never knew about these two tracks! Did someone tape them? Would love to hear them in Rome!Nando03 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 10:05 pmA Rome 1965 soundboard does exist: it is known between Italian collectors as "the A.M. Tapes" from the name of the journalist (Adriano Mazzoletti) who taped the concert by attaching a Nagra portable(!) recorder directly to the mixing console. Two songs were broadcast in 1995 (if memory serves me correctly)I have heard rumors there is a Rome 65 soundboard(no idea if it’s true).

Re: A list of known unbootlegged material?
Sorry. 'The AM Tape'. It's the available extracts plus Yoko's diary tape.
EDIT: PC used 'The Beatles In Italy' by Misterclaudel which seems sourced from 'The AM Tape'.
EDIT: ...and others.
Re: A list of known unbootlegged material?
I'm quite sure somewhere on my hard disks a better version of T&S and SAW exists, while I'm diggin' I'll post a 2015 mp3 podcast that contains the story of the tape (in italian, sorry...) AND two excerpts from the show: Twist and Shout and Can't Buy me Love (the latter has never appeared on any boot, AFAIK); you can find them at 4:05 and 19:16...

It's a silly lie probably made to add some hope to people wanting to hear this Outtake.MarkRJones1970 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 8:07 amPoppy cock! Pulled? Pulled by who? Tracks on bootlegs don't get 'pulled' then disappear. They just find their way onto newer bootlegs!
The only thing we know about this is that IT IS NOT AVAILABLE AND NEVER HAS, if any bootleger had ever claimed to have it, is pretty sure is an utter lie, and if the 12:35 secs Take 2 on the SDE is any indication, the 27 mins take 3 should be a boring drag, all i know is that i read somewhere that at some point it was considered for A3 or a "highlights" box set of the Anthology Apple was planning at the time and then discarded (similar to the box set). i read somewhere as well (need to find out the reference) that Paul have the only surviving copy of the master tape, which mean we will never hear it (at least not in our lifetime)
Re: A list of known unbootlegged material?
on the "live" tapes topic: does anyone here know whatever happened to the guy who claimed to have a full tape (or at least the full ending) of the Candlestick Park concert with the full "Long Tall Sally"? last i heard is that he withdrawn for this kind of forums and no one ever heard that tape, or is that just another invented myth by the usual wishful thinkers?Lord Reith wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 4:37 amHey, what?!
