From Matt Hurwitz: It is actually not from 1968, but was a song recorded at Trident on March 10, 1970, as detailed in my article on the recording of "All Things Must Pass." George was helping out Aashish Khan, who was asked to contribute an Indian-themed pop song for an Indian film director, but the track was never used.

Maybe on the rhythm guitar.
it's sounds to much like Eric Clapton's guitar phrase when he played with a "clean" guitar tone (Fender perhaps?)
at 0:55 there are some stuff that George could do technically but sounds to me totally Claptonesque.

the strange thing is that if this was really 1968 it was still CREAM and Eric did not evolve at that point with the clean sound which announces the Layla album.
It also reminds me the amazing jam on the elusive song "Devil Road".

That is strange because the BBC host and and "DJ" says that Ringo's drumfills are instantly recognizable (ok it's Ringo) but also George's guitar.
And they did not talk at all about Eric Clapton but talk about a track which would have been recorded at the same time than "Hey Jude".

Then the guitar riff reminds me a lot "Driving Along" on Harry Nilsson album (Nilsson Schmilsson) (especially the Apple Acetate (Purple Chick version) - but Harry's song is from 1971.

it could be George on rhythm guitar with Leslie effect; and is it George at the very end for the backing vocals ?

CSNYFAN, did you try to make a remaster of this great mp3 track ?

It should also be available (even lossless) on streaming services. Deezer has it. And all proceeds go to charity.
