We had a discussion elsewhere about John's lack of involvement on George's later songs. The opposite is true of Paul, he had to crank up his bass playing to be "visible" on George's songs (ie, here, Something, etc.).

Agreed. After "Blue Jay Way" (eh) and going forward, there's nothing that George did that I disliked with The Beatles. In fact, when I hear "Carry That Weight" I think of it being about George; in that he carried a lot of the songwriting weight in the final years.
