When I last lived in the 'The Pool' I used to get a lot of good things and I really enjoyed the thrill of the hunt. Now stick the word Beatles on it and it is immediatly overcharged. Such is life.

Indeed.

And when I was there in November, I found the couple of Beatles shops in and around Matthew Street felt rundown, with minimal interesting stock. Post covid effects?

I used to work at Probe records on an adhoc basis this was on the corner of Button Street just off Mathew Street. Happy memories before it all became gentrified.
