Are there any versions of the German VHS with original mono soundtrack floating around?
The only version in my files has the soundtrack updated with audio from the Nagras.

I also own the CED and LD…my CED player died a long time ago and my recently acquired LD plays but skips during You Realy Got A Hold On Me…despite numerous cleanings…WOA76 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 2:34 pmI own the LD and CED my buddy copied my laserdisc to DVD-R [4GB I believe]years ago I'll have to look for itRickenbacker325 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 2:40 pm Thanks very much for this..it was duly downloaded

It's not the full transfer, but a short sample of the LD to get an idea of the quality.Rickenbacker325 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 2:40 pm Thanks very much for this..it was duly downloaded

Here's a question:
my dad has a bootleg vhs copy of what I assume is either from the home video or laserdisc but the opening UA logo lacks the Transmerica subtitle; like so... does this indicate it's a different pressing?

Re: Let It Be (1970 Film / New Transfer of 1981 Magnetic Video VHS)
I can answer this, actually!
Transamerica and United Artists un-merged in 1981 and that meant that all United Artists films from between 1967 and 1981 had to have the mention of Transamerica scrubbed from them, and their move was almost always to replace it with their most recent logo at the time. This one comes right out of 1981, and is basically just a freeze-frame of their last Transamerica logo. They used this until they had a proper one prepared.

Please don't quote me on this. I have a DVD copy of what supposed to be Let It Be from Laserdisc. I will upload it on Mega Site and put it here. Those who has the Laserdisc can confirm if it is so or not. It does have the Laserdisc logo at the beginning of it.Rickenbacker325 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 2:40 pm Thanks very much for this..it was duly downloaded
