Re: Yellow Matter Custard (stereo)
Thank you, LR ...a very cool release.
I bought Yellow Matter Custard in the early 70's. I loved that album, even with its crappy sound. At the time I speculated that this was a lost album from 1964 (in or around Beatles For Sale). The inclusion of Slow Down probably lead me to that conclusion. Most of the songs were unfamilar to me... i had no idea if the were Beatle originals or not ...and i had no knowledge of the BBC recordings. On the song "I Just Don't Understand", in those early copies, on the source tape someone is trying to tune the radio station in better. the resulting distortion gave the vocals in the later section a nice, odd sound. I sort of miss that. After the official Apple aibums were released I made my own comp/playlist of the LP songs. This new STEREO version is just amazing.

Thanks guys. I've already decided it warrants a sequel... Purple Matter Custard. Stay tuned.

I was able to place the main set in my collection by air date but what are the dates of the EP tracks? I mainly went through 1963 to try and find them.
