The comparison track tells the tale. Pass-able yet still crusty AM vs high fidelity.
I'll take it however I can get it, though. Until the Hi-Fi versions of a lot of this stuff circulated, crusty was just fine.
What'd be nice is if the early Pink Floyd broadcasts which include many of the Piper tracks suddenly turned up in Hi-Fi. So far the best collection of these that I've heard have been curated and remastered by Prof Stoned. But they still have that ol' crust on em.

That's brilliant. I seem to recall having a copy of that EP in a colour sleeve and coloured vinyl. Well, I suppose it's forgivable for an American to mistake Princess Margaret for the Queen lol.
