Discovered this old project a few days ago, been interested ever since. I'll write up more details about this below, but in short, this song is someone pretending to be John Lennon, now with a.i voice filter to make them sound even closer to him.

There was an album released by in 2009 by a figure named Abracadabra, who was pretending to be John Lennon, the songs were written by a man named Peter McNamee and sung by Lennon impersonator Mark Staycer. The album was the soundtrack for McNamee's "Let Him Be" movie which follows two film students who find Lennon in rural Canada after he supposedly faked his death.

Marc Staycer had a pretty good Lennon vocal, so when I put his isolated vocals in my a.i , it produced some pretty decent results. If any of you really dig this, I can do the whole album. For this song, I synced it up to the live performance in the movie.

Watched his funeral, it is saved on Youtube, seemed like a quality guy. I love that a certain group of people really thought Mark was Truly Lennon, I hope he got a kick from that!
